This month’s release, Peripherique’s new album ‘Wabi Sabi’, is no mere collection of tracks but an attempt realize a concept through music: The title ‘Wabi Sabi’ is a reference to an old japanese concept of aesthetic, of beauty in the state of transcience.

‘Wabi Sabi’ is complete in its incompleteness, perfect while being imperfect. The album tries to capture this spirit in musical form: quiet music, an analog-digital hybrid that represents the idea of ‘nothing lasts, nothing is finished, and nothing is perfect.’
